During the nightly backup process, the database once again stopped responding and had to be restarted this morning. Rather than bring it back online as I have been doing, I spent the day trying to duplicate the issue, but to no avail. Before bringing it back online, the database tables were optimized and I checked to make sure the database is in sync with the BOINC file system.
