Wanted: Tahiti GPU

I'm looking for a GPU with a Tahiti core. These GPUs, AFAIK, have much higher double precision than most enthusiast/desktop GPUS. The applicable GPUS should be:


GPU - Core

7870 XT - Tahiti LE - (not 7870, and not 7870 Ghz Edition)
7950 - Tahiti PRO, Tahiti PRO-H
7950 Boost - Tahiti PRO2, Tahiti PRO-H2
7970 - Tahiti XT
7970 Ghz Edition - Tahiti XT2

Not interested in 7990 unless its a friggin steal

R9 280 - Tahiti PRO3
R9 280x - Tahiti XT2, Tahiti XTL

I'd be looking for the best combination of price/performance and for the most part these are all around 200-250w TDP cards.

An r9 280x rev 2 new can be bought on ebay for 200 dollars. I don't mind buying used gear in good condition and have had good experiences buying from members and friends of SUSA. So if anyone has any of these cards on the market or knows of one I'm interested in hearing about it.

When EmSti retired he said he'd sell off his GPU fleet to the team, including some Tahiti cards. But, I'm not sure what happened to that. I just picked up an R9 280x on ebay for $160+S&H... I'm with you though, I'd rather buy new or from teammates.

I should get my 280x tomorrow and install it where I now have an HD 7950 Boost. I was going to keep that card for a future build, so I'm not itching to sell it. But if you are wanting something soon - just drop me a PM.
