Ok the girl that sits next to me at work has a dieing video card. Is there a such thing as a workstation video card? hahaha i need something that is less the 75-100 watts and needs no outside power its a dell with a 330w ps

PCIe? You could probably get by with about a 220...

Yeppers there is such a thing as a workstation card (http://www.amd.com/us/products/workstation/graphics/Pages/workstation-graphics.aspx). They are optimized video cards for CAD systems & Graphic Stations. So if she does not have that kind of system then any decent card will work. Just make sure you match expansion slot type ie.. PCI, PCIe, AGP, etc...

its a pcie. she uses outlook and excel... i'm more worried about the production i'll get out of it :)
