Glad you're okay. We did miss you I was wondering what happened to you. You're just in time for the pentathlon, and those GPUs will come in mighty handy!

i need to move some of my bitcoin miners out of my house and down to the datacenter i built befor ei can plug those pc's back in, ive actually gotten into mining full time , me and a friend purchased 200th worth of spoondoolies sp31's and built our own datacenter were power is at .03 c kw , got a ton of older hardware still plugged in at my house since the power is free, but once i move 2-3 machines over to the datacenter ill be able to get those pc's back up and crunching

Crossfire makes no difference to BOINC. I usually remove it, just to make sure there is no wasted communication overhead going on. But I don't think I saw a measurable difference either way.

thanks i tried both ways last night no difference. i ether need to get my waterblocks soon or find another long pci-ex16 riser so i can move my gpus further apart , gpu 1 just isnt getting enough air for the fans/
thermaltake isnt selling there pci-e16 extenders yet , and the one i got off ebay is about 4 inches to short :(

worst comes to worse for now ill pull one of the 280x's and install it in the other pc

Great case - I look forward to seeing that with acrylic tubing! I always try to undervolt (sometimes underclock) my 280Xs when they're next to each other like that. Seems to be the only way to keep the temps down.

ive never used acrylic tubing before so im a lil worried im going to scrap a bunch of it learning how to properly heat it with a torch and bend it , but the end result will be well worth it im sure

so far i love the case with e few exceptions
its heavy as hell
no room for 5.25 drives
thermaltake is not yet offering the special pci-e x16 extender cables that u need to use to run 2 or more gpus when the case is in the vertical position or wall mounted

I use MSI Afterburner. You have to enable voltage control on each individual card, and sometimes you need a monitor or dummy plug on the card to enable full control.

since the g4 mac i have turned out to be a bust for remote access to my datacenter , and i want i5 laptop back ( laptop is currently in the dc pulling remote access duty ) i decided to take some of the spare parts i had for sale and put together a temporary mini cruncher/ remote access machine , if anyone ends up buying any of the stuff ill just pull it apart
