Just to let all of you know. My son Sean has just been elected Mayor of Porta Torres Italy. He won with over 72% of the vote, not a bad margain for a first time run. So any of you going to Porta Torres I have an inside track. :)

That makes him a "Big Guy" in the town. Congrats. Having spent 2 years in Verona, Italy I really appreciate the scenery. That town is near Gorizia and I have been to Gorizia in the winter. Great area.

one thing for sure Duke it is the Porta Torres that has that beach in it. I think I could live on that beach if they would let me. :) really a great beach. yes it is on the island of Sardinia.
