I'm thinking about putting 2 of my dedicated crunchers up for sale and would like to see if anyone here might be interested in them. Both have i7-2600k CPUs. Both mobos are Asus. 1 is a P8P67-M-Pro. The other is P8P67-M. Both come with 8GB(2x4GB) of GSkill 1600MHz. ram. Both come with a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 CPU cooler. These are stand alone crunchers w/o cases. Haven't done any price checking so I really only have a ballpark figure of what they might be worth. PM with a fair offer if you're interested.

In a slightly different world, I would love those, but I can't right now. Damn!

Crunchers without cases ?

Yes. They run inside a cabinet that is mounted in my upstairs bedroom closet. The hot air exhausts into the attic.

Here's the pics. Top is the M-Pro mobo. Bottom is M mobo. Both mobos come with the original box. I can include the manuals, driver disc and cables if you want them. They are both mATX boards.

Crunchers without cases ?I have had as many as 6 hanging on a wall mounted on peg board. cases take up room, add to heating problems and cost a lot. :)

You oughta post a picture Rick, your setup is really nice. After seeing that I did the exact same thing on a few systems several years ago. I don't have them anymore, but it worked extremely well!
