damn we have had over 20 tornado warnings in the last 2 and half hours. so far nothing here but a friend had has farm hit about an hour ago. lost part of there house. saw that some place in Texas had been hit with one, and a bit later the second one hit them and a third was on the way. I would think getting hit by 2 tornados in one night would be enough.

I hope everyone made out safely. Houses can be replaced. People, not so much.

We had a bit of a storm here in Western Washington today... winds in the 50 to 70 mph range... only one dead, tree landed on his car... we don't get tornadoes, we get large storms with wind and rain... everyone gets hit at once.

Ditto. We lost power up where I'm at for several hours yesterday evening, and there were widespread internet outages. Like at my office, which crippled any ability to do work.

I guess that explains why everyone is so quite around here. :-h

We didn't have anything severe around here but wouldn't you know it.......Time Warner lost the internet for about 4 hours.....again. I sure wish I had an alternate for cable here.

I'll give you my DSL...cheap! Though it's like living with a constant outage, even when it's working. :(

I had ordered 100 megabit internet from Comcast, and was so disgusted with their setup and help process that I dumped them within a week (before I got anything working, too) in favor of 2 megabit DSL. While it's slow, it's still better than dealing with Comcast...

I went with Fios and dumped Time Warner Cable. Cable companies suck.

The only option I have here is Centurylink DSL or Time Warner. TWC is the lesser of 2 evils right now but if I ever have the chance to dump them I will and very fast.
