A few credits randomly showed up in my account the other day, but not many.

A few credits randomly showed up in my account the other day, but not many.Same here. I have the project running on all my PC's just incase and I only get a few on some of them. They haven't [ut out much work in the last few months but when they do it goes fast. Maybe they're beginning another phase of releasing some small batches about once a week. :-??

Need about 5K and figure it will only take a few years.

For a while now, LHC has work rarely and in small batches. They also have a mandatory request back-off of something like 15 minutes. And if you try to manually force an update prematurely, you will get nothing, and the clock starts all over. So there is no natural way for any single machine to get more than a task or two from any given batch.

However, there are several machines at the top of this list (http://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/top_hosts.php) that make me call shenanigans. I seem to recall that there is a cheat by constantly changing your hostid or something. But I don't think that is the case here. They have normal benchmarks. But they're claiming something like 80x the wingman. So the credits are awarded at the average.

Anybody know about GPU Wu's for the LHC Project, somebody posted over at POEM about GPU Wu's for LHC but I can't find or know about them ???

AFAIK there is no gpu app. According to this thread, it's possibly planned for testing next year.

Also, there is no gpu option in the account prefs.
