Lenovo M58e SFF Desktop PC - Intel Core 2 Quad, 4GB RAM, 250GB Hard Drive, DVD ROM - Windows 7 64 pro, EVGA GeForce 210.

Free so long as it is used to crunch for the team. Please don't take this just to sell.

No interest? I know it's not the fastest machine, but it has four cores, and especially good for wuprop hours, and the GPU crunches.

And those M58e SFF's are pretty nice compact little machines, so it could easily double as a MediaPC too.

Does it happen to have a PCIe slot? Or is that what the EVGA GeForce 210 is occupying?

Yes, it has one PCIe slot, it is 1/2 hight, and the GPU is occupying it. There is PCI slot next to it. I guess you could plug in a PCI GPU in that slot, if you needed the PCIe slot for something else.

There is no PCIe power plug. So the GPU must be powered from the slot alone.

IIRC, aren't the M58e's configured the same way as the M57e's and can only support a single-width PCIe card too?

You are correct, sir! 1/2 height, single width, no power cables. Pretty sure the card in it is about as powerful cruncher it can take.

Oh man, I want it, but no room for it. :( :( :( I have to find space somewhere for an old 2 core lappy that I am trying to keep in service for the cause.

The perfect spot for that lappy is to set it on top of Z's m58e :D

If no one is interested... I'll put it in service at my place. :D

Ill put it on hydra, if its a laptop, and run it until it dies, how does that sound Zombie?.
I have 2 ethernet cables free, and a couple hundred watts free on a UPS.
(I dont go over 70% wattage useage on a UPS..)

This is an older thread, but I figured I'd check to see if still available. If so I can take this and crunch.

Yep, it's gone now.
