DRAM lawauit
http://dramclaims.com/
Check this site out if you purchased any computer equipment between 1998 and 2002. I'm sure that there are a lot of us who have put in a lot of money into crunchers that far back. This might put a penny or two back into your pocket.

Re: DRAM lawauit
But....but....but. I have NO proof of purchase for that time period. The online store I used is long out of business and there is no way I can get a copy of receipts from Fry's foor that time period. Maybe if I still had that equipment......wait! my sdram! Like having it will prove anything. That era was still so primitive with records keeping. Unless you bought into an extended warranty like GE Support Plus during that time, I'm sure most will not be able to prove a purchase. I worked for them during that time and they did keep good records of any upgrades due to possibly voiding the warranty. lol

Re: DRAM lawauit
These kinds of law suits are to make lawyers rich. No one else, really.

Re: DRAM lawauit
Yeah let me check my zipzoomfly and egghead online order history :))

Re: DRAM lawauit
I think I still have receipts from 00'~02'. I'll have to dig through my stuff, but just to see.

Re: DRAM lawauit
If you read the lawsuit itself no proof of purchase is necessary.

Re: DRAM lawauit
Which means the pay outs will be so small, it's not worth their time to validate any of the claims.

Re: DRAM lawauit
I agree that the payouts will be small and the only ones to make any real money will be the lawyers, but for 5 minutes of my time I think it is wort it to fill out the form. I know that I spent a ton on stuff back then and if I can get back anything I will take it.:D
