So...Looking at the current deals on NewEgg and a couple items caught my eye. Started reading the discription though and I think I'll pass...
When telephone coming the music automatic cut over to telephone conversation condition.
This keyboard also comes with Backlit/Backlight LED Lights for using at night time, looks cool amazing.
Both items are sold by First by ASIA, out of Hong Kong, and having visited a couple times I know there are individuals that know the English language better then I there. Still it was worth a chuckle to read through the descriptions.
Ok...here is a deal for the gamers out there: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...07-00009-L014A
I think i'm going to have to jump on it this time. Been on sale at this price before, but now they're throwing in a 250GB SSD. Anyone care to talk me out of it? :D
Deal expires at 11:59pm PT on Sunday, 9/7/2014
Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB SSD - $89.99 (Link)
I've moved back to spinning disks for my dedicated crunchers. I frequently have several VMs, and I want to be able to allocate 120gb each*. And 512gb SSDs are just too expensive still.
*A couple projects in the past have set their minimum requirements to something stupid like 100gb of free space, and without it you can't get tasks.
i played with ssd hard drive on this computer but i hate it so i cant do any wu thats req over a gb of hd space so i may go back to my old fason hard drive again
For my main desktop, I use the SSD for boot drive and for gaming. All my other storage is rotational. Best of both worlds. Our HTPC has a similar setup. SSD for Booting and XBMC. All the movies and music A/V files are on the HDD.

Currently the cheapest price on the Net. Get'em while they're hot!
EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB - $129.99 w/Free Shipping [Price before $20 MIR] (Link)
The new GTX 970 and GTX 980 have higher performance per watt, but if you factor in FLOPS/Watt/$$ this particular 750 Ti is a better (initial) deal by 2.5x to 3.5x.
I already have 2 750 Tis and I'm trying to add a 7970 to my fleet, but this may be too good to pass up!
If you have enough place you may be right, but I have already 14 GPUs ( 11 running, 3 are in repair ) and my only place left would
be outside the cases with a PCIe-Expander (already ordered 2 of them) leaving the boxes open all the time.
I would look for a 290 instead of the 7970, they are so cheap now since the Nvidia 900 series came out.
Even a 290x costs 299,- Euro today. ( GTX970 355,- in Europe )
290 and 290X are both worse at double precision than a 7970 or 280X by about 30%
Sent from my Galaxy S4 using Tapatalk Pro
I know and thats why I dont wanted a 290x. But this is my Gaming PC and I want two 290x for crossfire.
Im going to buy a 4k Monitor this year and I think I will need them for playing all games with full resolution.
... besides 420$ is a nice price.
So would a 750 Ti, at this lowered price point, be a good stop-gap video card to get while we're all waiting for them to bring out "big Maxwell"? Sorry, I've just been out of the loop all summer. Thanks for cluing me in.
Huh?? What?? I'm so lost! lol I've never been more out of the loop than I am right now. I have it in my mind to wait another year for anything major. I guess I need to get caught back up on my tech just in case I have to start over from scratch with my farm.
I have 1 Evga GTX 750ti and it just keeps on going, just like the Energizer Bunny. It does a great job and my electric bill has dropped.

I lucked out and picked up a Crucial 240gb SSD from Newegg for $89 earlier in the week. I ordered it and went back to look at the specs a second time and it was already sold out. Glad I got it when I did. I have 2 OCZ SSD's and they have both been replaced and 1 of them has been replaced twice. That is why I went with a different brand. The computer wouldn't boot from the drive and when I put it in anothe box it wouldn't even recognize it.

Newegg is extending a military discount to active and veteran service members, 10% off up to $20. They use a verification service which asks for your DOB, separation date, and an uploaded document for verification. Not sure if it's worth transmitting private documents for this discount; I'll leave that up to you. I sent a pdf of my Basic Individual Record which doesn't show my SSN and was verified in about 15 minutes.

Edit: Once you receive the discount code by email, you have 6 days to redeem.

Far too many deals to mention, but there's a couple SSDs i wanted to note after spending the time to dig for them:

2) SanDisk 240GB SSD $84.99 + free shipping http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-...YZWM5MENQC1386

Pick whoever doesn't charge you sales tax ;)
RANT ALERT: Newegg had some Mobile-only deals over the last week; I used one to buy an i7-4790k & motherboard. HOWEVER for some damn reason one cannot select "Will Call" from the mobile app. A long chat with customer service and I could not convince them to extend the mobile discount to a web promo code... but alas I am a sucker for a deal so I figured "what the heck" Newegg is shipping the items from IN MY CITY so it shouldn't take but a couple days.
Oh, but then Newegg does the unthinkable... using FedEx SmartPost to ship an item IN TOWN. So Monday morning Newegg ships the package via FedEx from Memphis. Tuesday morning the package is at a ground hub in North Mississippi. Wednesday morning the package is sent to the USPS back in Memphis. Now USPS indicates the package is at the post office in my zip code, but don't expect delivery til Friday. ~X(
Normally I wouldn't really care because I'd be doing my build on a weekend, but I need to have this thing up and running, programs installed and files restored by Saturday afternoon when my wife gets home from a trip. I'm (secretly) upgrading her home office PC b-)
Rant complete (for now)
I hate SmartPost!
I ordered 2 different packages of cables from the Egg at the same time. They shipped both via Dumbpost on the same day. 1 got here on Friday. The other didn't get here until today. If you need anything fast you can't use their Newegg free shipping.
On the other hand I got a Crucial 240gb SSD on the 6th of this month and it failed. I sent it bac to the Egg and they are sending a new one via next day air so I should have it tomorrow.
I'm not so sure I'd consider that a better situation than just taking a while to get to ya... Less than a month and you killed an SSD? Sheesh! :)
(Although, it's really impressive if you got it on the 6th of this month and it failed already. I'm still waiting to see that day myself...) :D
