gigabyte 970a d3sp

rm 1000 should be plenty for this setup right even with the watercooling stuff
Re: What did *you* upgrade today?

You're running PCIe 2.0, and the 2nd slot is rated at x4... and those lanes are coming not from the 970 chipset but from the southbridge chip. Might not get great Crossfire performance, but it's worth a try! Hope you're OCing the heck out of your CPU!

Been working on this project for a couple of weeks. After losing a mobo and miners due to the rain/flood while it was still in pieces, It's now mostly finished and lives OUTSIDE! Not to mention.....it's mobile and can be carted to the laundry room to use the power THERE for a few hours.:ar! I'm still in need for a second mobo for this. Right now, I'm just happy to get the r-boxes out of the house. The heat is just crazy! http://magicalblondbimbo.tumblr.com/...-bonc-cruncher

I'm still trying to get my old wireless dsl modem/router to work as a repeater/wireless card. When I get that part nailed down, I'll be free to take it anywhere that has wifi and a power socket I can use. If only I can mod the screen from my old dell laptop to work with it, I'd be in total business. Knowing the limitations of this, I designed one from scratch with a hard case. IF I can get a company interest6ed in actually making it, there will not ever be a need for a hardware tech to haul around a laptop and half a dozen things like drive dock, card reader and what not. The last thing I added was the fan qt the top. Was having serious heat issues before hand. I'll have to replace that fan asap due to breaking a few blades off while getting it to sit right. Something had to give.....fan blades or my nails. Getting my nails fixed would cost far more, Still, over the last month, I've broken 15 fans. Been a total bad month all around. Losing 2 mobos (gonna cost an arm and leg an lung and kidney and part of my liver to get a new P55 mobo with duel pci-e slots), many of my miners, the fans......gonna be a long time trying to recover.
