I will let the big time MMers answer this one, but it has to do with how many DIFFERENT projects you have run for X number of hours. So it's not just like I ran SETI or POGs for X hours, so I get X star. You have to run many different projects that long to equal that star. It's an interesting way to get people to crunch a lot of different projects. I'm obviously not that into it, but I think it's a pretty cool way of showing those who are dedicated to the broader spectrum of BOINC and not just a few pet projects. :)

1st star (bronze) = 20 different projects or project applications run for a minimum of 100 hours each.

Yes, I'm more PROUD of the Wildlife Video Watching Badge than all the others put together. It's something you have to Physically do yourself over & over until your Bored to DeATH. It's not something you set your Quad 7970 12 Threaded Cpu Computer to do while you Nap ... ;) ... I'm 2'nd right now but have been running down the Leader who for some mysterious reason hasn't Posted in the Wildlife Forum or watched any Video's for a couple of weeks now ...:confused:

Second star finally turned to silver, getting that one to gold is going to be a serious haul for me. Probably be able to pick up the 1st green star before the second gold.

Well I haven't caught him yet, I'm just getting back to where I was when I 1'st started chasing him 3 Month's or so ago. If he comes back all of a sudden & starts watching Video's again it'll make the job all that much the harder. In a way though I hope he does come back soon, he's the best Video Watcher there bare none so he's a big help to the Project ...

I think JPM was inferring that you had met #1 in some dark alley and "took him out" so you would be able to take over that first place spot. :))
