Those are MSI boards you are talking about?

I'm not sure if he means MSI or EVGA or some other brand.
I have an EVGA 790i 3/w SLI FTW and it's been a good solid board. That's my Rodan system and currently my main cruncher. I'll have to scout around to see if I can locate another somewhere. I was hoping to find something maybe less expensive, as IIRC that was about a $379 board when I bought it about 2 years ago. One would think they would be going real cheap now, but the high end i7 CPUs are not coming down in price either.

OK, EVGA seems to ring a bell here. The last time I was searching for a 775 board on eBay, those EVGA boards were hitting final auction prices in the $100~$190 range.

@Mike I may have an old power supply lying around. It's an ABS Tagan 900w I think. I'll see if I can dig it up and let you know. My PC parts box is turning into a PC parts room...
@Yo Don't get too used to that #1 TopGun spot... [-X If this Moo! keeps going halfway decent, I'll be there in no time flat. :p

The fan was getting noisy and it's missing one PCIe 8 pin connector cable. PM your address and I'll send it off you. If you can use it, great. If not, you can toss it.

WTG Shadow!!!!
Yo Mike, The fan should not be too hard to replace is you have ANY soldering experience. If not then a couple of inline crimps will do nicely.
