I to am getting validate errors. And one of my P4s cannot crunch it at all. Every wu gives a computation error after 1 or 2 seconds of crunching. :((

Yeah, the linux app is not baked yet. That's why I said, "Put your windows machines on this project." Even the windows app spits out the occasional validation error. But with the crazy credits this this was paying, it was well worth it.
Re: So you want the team to be more competitive?
FYI, they updated the linux apps today. Perhaps they fixed the problem.

Re: So you want the team to be more competitive?
Yeah these new long WUs arent paying as much. Looks like Primegrid PPS Sieve is still the best for 64 bit CPU.
Also, DNET is trying to bruteforce a 72 bit key and it's 1.3% complete right now. This project is trying a 1024 bit key! I hope they're not bruteforcing too, this could take a while lawl.

Re: So you want the team to be more competitive?
Just read their boards and the high credits per are here to stay. Also, they claim there will be GPU work for this project in about a month.

That is what they said. But since then, the credits have dropped significantly. The task run time has increased, and so has the credits awarded. But not by as much. So we are making less c/h now. Still very good! But not as good as it was.
Re: So you want the team to be more competitive?
I must concede, you have finally found me a CPU project that perhaps pays better than AQUA. It looks like it will, I just want to run it a few days before I give it the crown. ;)
I may just have the perfect combination of hardware and software for this project, (AMD Quads running Win7 64bit), but I have no errors or invalid WUs since 10PM last night. So, in 12 hours, my 2 quads have pumped out over 20K credits. That's pretty huge for CPU power.

I am rigth there also....I am closing in on 2.000 CS in just 2 hours of crunching!! According to my math....WE COULD DOMINATE THIS PROJECT!
Re: So you want the team to be more competitive?
Has anyone seen their stats exported?
Thanks, Ger
Re: So you want the team to be more competitive?
They exported yesterday, but it seems the xml files there haven't been updated. They've got a thread about it in there forums, so they are aware...
