Here's a milestone that I've been working on for 13 months. From Architect to final inspection...we finally got our CO this morning on the house we built on our property for my in-laws. By tomorrow night they should be able to sleep in their own bed, in their own house. House building is quite a stressful adventure and one I will never do again...hopefully. Time to celebrate and have a beer or two.

Still have a workspace and storage to build in the crawlspace. When you hear crawlspace you think about crawling around on your belly. This one has 8 feet of headroom in about 25% of the space and the rest is a "bend slightly"...no crawling. It's also sealed and conditioned, so should make a good work area...or data center. Oh, final grading needs to be done, but that's it.Quote:
