My favorite beer is very cold.

Now for a beer I absolutely hated. I might have had a bad batch. It was greasy and didn't even taste like beer. It certainly didn't taste like an IPA. I bought a 6 pack and poured 5 1/2 down the drain.

As long as it's cold, i'm no can-o-sewer!
Ever since we went to Turkey on holiday in 2010, I have been excited about their beer:

Best thing?? I can buy here in Denmark!
Anything but lite beer. I'd rather drink a glass of ice water than lite beer. You expect lite beer to taste like beer -- but it doesn't. With water, there are no such expectations. IPAs are OK, but I prefer darker beers. No specific brand since, shortly after I find a beer I like, it becomes popular and the price goes up. So, I find another.
 I have something against water. I had a friend of mine that drunk so much water that he drowned. I am avoiding that drinking beer. :p

My favorite beer: Free.
There are some beers I would rather pay for than what someone would be willing to give me for free. For instance, I just tried this last night and may have become my new favorite.

Went out to a Wisconsin favorite Fish Fry last Friday and had a "Fat Tire" beer. It reminded me of a very good German beer. First time I had seen this one so I had to try it.
I guarantee you that you would have loved my Home Brew a couple of years ago. I used to make 5 Gallon batches at a time from scratch using grains and hops only. My Brew club boasted that we could make any style of Beer that would be even better than the original. Unfortunately, I can not handle the weights involved in Beer making as I used three commercial size kegs in the process and whilst it was mostly automated I still had to lift some heavy weights beyond my ability and Medical Condition. Since I used to try to imitate certain styles, my saying used to be that there is no bad beer but some are better than others.
I will agree with that part of the statement. Fortunately for me, I started drinking beer beer when I went into the Army at 17 and was able to drink on the base. Of course most of that was the rotten 3.2% beer. I went to Germany when I was 18 and had a great time for the next 18 months sampling German beer and then moving on to Italy for 2 years and sampling not only Italian beer but a LOT of wine. Of course I have been to S. America, Japan, Phillipine Islands, Okinawa, Viet Nam, Thailand, and all of the countries in Europe that weren't behind the old Iron Curtain so I have been very happy sampling beer. I think that is where I got my attitude problem.;););)
I just tasted this incredible beer, from a small Danish one-man brewery....Or should I say One-woman, because itīs a woman making the beer!!...

Most of the best things the world has made for me were made by women, now back to the topic Beerdrinker. :)
