That depends on your taste in movies. (Keep in mind that I am a Christian) I have read all 16 books. The movies, like the books, get a little drawn out in parts but for me it was tolerable. Other then that they stay fairly true to the essence of the books.

Hah! I said the same thing somewhere else yesterday... I thought there were interesting. Not my personal belief system, but interesting. The first few were better written IMHO, and after about the 4th or 5th they started getting REALLY preachy...
