My 5970 is a Diamond brand and it has run flawlessly 24/7 for the last year. I've never had a problem with Diamond.

I have been a diamond owner since the S3 trio days and have always had good dealings with them.. all my ati/amd cards are from Diamond except the 4850x2 from saphire, only had to send one off due to the fan going bad that was the x800xl, usually turn arround on warranty 2-3 weeks, dont forget these have a 5 year warranty on the cards not to many folks are doing that anymore.
