Thanks for looking Z. The laptop presently has 2 slots with 2gb/slot. Enough for my plan, but if I can upgrade to 8gb it would be nice. There were lots of problems with this laptop mostly associated with too much crap running in the background and a ton of corrupted files. I seems to have everything running fairly smooth now. Though I didn't plan on crunching with it. I am shaking it out running a bit of Einstein Low freq right now. I should have my star in 2 days just to prove it can.Quote:
