DENIS: Server shutdown for maintenance / Parada del servidor por mantenimiento

Dear volunteers,
After a long time in which the project has not been maintained 100% of the time, the server and BOINC version have become obsolete. Applying all the necessary updates is often problematic and in fact BOINC does not automatically update well in DENIS. That is why, in collaboration with the University's IT department, we have made a backup of everything and we are going to carry out a clean installation of the server and BOINC to restore the project on it. It is not a simple operation and we are going to do it calmly.

That is why from tomorrow or Monday the server will not be available. As soon as everything is restored we will notify you again here.

The current situation due to the pandemic has not left us much time, but this whole update comes because we have a new project in which we want to use DENIS and that you can continue to collaborate with science.

Estimados voluntarios:
Después de mucho tiempo en el que el proyecto no ha estado mantenido el 100% del tiempo, la versión del servidor y de BOINC se han ido quedando obsoletas. El aplicar todas las actualizaciones necesarias suele dar problemas y de hecho BOINC no actualiza automáticamente bien. Es por ello que, en colaboración con el departamento de Informática de la Universidad hemos hecho una copia de seguridad de todo y vamos a realizar una instalación limpia del servidor y de BOINC para restaurar sobre ella el proyecto. No es una operación sencilla y vamos a ir haciéndola con calma.
Es por ello que desde mañana o el lunes el servidor no estará disponible. En cuanto esté todo restaurado volveremos a avisar por aquí.
La actual situación por la pandemia no nos ha dejado mucho tiempo, pero toda esta actualización viene porque tenemos un nuevo proyecto en el que queremos utilizar DENIS y que podáis seguir colaborando con la ciencia.
