    Ubuntu/Mint 20

I saw on the XS forums that Ubuntu 20 and Mint 20 were 2X faster than the previous versions of Linux.

I installed Mint 20 on one machine and compared it to another identical machine that runs Mint 19.3.

On UNIVERSE Mint 20 will produce 2X the credits/day over Mint 19.

I found no difference on Yoyo Siever or on QuChem ... identical performance.

NOTE: when I ran LHC native last month I found on their forums that Ubuntu/Mint 20 are not yet supported for native apps.

I'll have to keep an eye on that. I have a set of systems running Ubuntu 18.04 and just tonight installed 3 identical systems with Ubuntu 20.04 Desktop. All running MLC exclusively for now.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Well, first round of results and it looks like Ubuntu 20.04.1 Desktop is about 1% slower than 18.04.2 for MLC. I have at least 250 results per system across the various apps (ParityMachine, ParityModified, EightBit) and each app seems to average roughly 6550 seconds on 20.04 versus 6475 on 18.04 on my E5-2690 v4's.
