    Angry New HW releases: Disappointing

All three of the highly anticipated HW releases:

Nvidia 3000 GPUs: None available, no idea when they will be
AMD 6000 GPUs: None available, no idea when they will be
AMD 5000 CPUs: None available, no idea when they will be

All that press, all those reviews...meaningless.

All those promises of availability...what a load of crap!

Couldn't agree more. This was the first time in several release cycles I actually got motivated to do a new build. Nearly everything I had looked at possibly getting was out of stock today. Maybe I will come back around to the idea in a couple months when all the dust settles and parts are actually available.

A lot of the shortages have to do with the virus. More people staying at home buying computers for entertainment. It's also the reason PSUs have gotten so expensive and are out of stock often.

Nvidia is using Samsung fabs and AMD is using TSMC, so both fabs combined can't meet demand.

There's also a few articles floating around outting Nvidia for selling $175 million worth of Ampere GPUs to miners.
