    problem with internet

ok so I'm having this problem with the internet. I have 2 machines that have no problem getting on the net using firefox or explorer. all my other machines are giving me a time date error, even though the time and dare on the computer is correct. I can't get on the net with either browser. any ideas of what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for any help
oh yea boinc can update on all of the machines

That's a new one on me.
You could try going to the Control Panel and selecting the "Date and Time" link.
In the "Date and Time" window, select the "Internet Time" tab.
Under that tab, does it say you are synchronizing with the Internet time server called 'time.windows.com'?
If not, you can use the "Change Settings..." button to select it and sync with it on that machine.
(Make sure the checkbox "Synchronize with an internet server" is checked.)
If you were already synced with that server, you could select another server from the list for a while and see if things change.
You can put it back later simulating an electronic "giggling of the handle".

well gave that a shot and it didn't work. but I did find out that it is affecting free dc's pages mostly both the stats page and our forum site. haven't had any problem getting on other sites but haven't tried a lot of sites.

Double check that your time zone is set correctly too. If that doesn't fix it either, it could be a problem with web certificates which means nothing is wrong on your end

Also, I think the newest version of BM fixed the certificate issue.

yea I thought that too but I'm running the newest version. I will go back and double check that but I'm sure all my machines are updated to 7.16.20. what am I thinking I'm not having any problem with Boinc connecting, just explorier and firefox.

Is it only SETI.USA and Free-DC that you're having the issue with, or all websites on those PCs?

Here are some things to try.
