    WCG transferring from IBM to Krembil Research Institute

    besides the transfer itself, is this good, bad or neutral for the science and crunching of it?

    Since it is something that has to be done, I think it's all of the above. It's good that the final transition will finally be done. It's bad that limited work will only get more limited in the (hopefully) short term and neutral in that (again hopefully) we won't really notice the change going forward. Only time will tell.

    Can we ask them to up the credit per hour while they're at it? Might get more folks crunching it when they add new projects.

    From the WCG perspective their credits are quite generous and they are right. It's only when their totals get divided by 7 to add to the Boinc statistical world that the credits get castrated. Fortunately I'm more interested in their badges, but the 900,000+ credits per day have been pretty sweet as of of late.
