    Is WCG a goner?

Will WCG recover with or without history? It's been down for over 10 days. The last I read they were trying to recover the disks but haven't read an update since then.

I have no info. But I seriously doubt after all the transition effort, money invested, and projects in the middle of research, I doubt it is gone. Just IMO.

Update: The storage server was revived yesterday late afternoon. Both database filesystems mounted as before, but the science filesystem did not. It needs a repair; erasing the old log first.

I think it will be back, but I think the days of having a very stable project are over. Nothing has gone smoothly since the transition was started and being a non-standard (IBM's choice) project leaves them short on help available from the other boinc projects and developers.
