Itīs so easy points to obtain, that everyone with 1GB ram or more should be doing this!!!

I agree. Now that they have fixed it to were you have many choices on how to run it. You can have cpu intensive, non-intensive and now you can run both with your choice of 1 core or multi cores depending on what you are running in your system.

CI WUs take about 1 hour. NCI WUs take about 4 hours. If you allow more than one CI WU on your machine, you're going to be eating up a lot of your processors, and not doing nearly as well with other CPU projects. I'm allowing 1 NCI/core on my machines, and am really happy with the output. Doesn't interfere much with CPU crunching that way.
It's the first project I attach to.. All 3 rigs are running it now
I agree that if you run the CI tasks that you will use a lot of processor if you allow more then 1 instance to run. I only use the NCI units. If they take longer or I don.t get as much credit it's ok with me. At least it is running and getting credit.Originally Posted by Maxwell

What is this FreeHal you speak of??
It's been down for the weekend, but it's back up now. Check you machines, as they may be working off a really long back-off. Get them going again manually if you have to.

I seem to have problems every time I run FreeHAL.
But I guess I will try it again... just like the other day I was out back banging my head on the block wall when my neighbor saw what I was doing she asked, "Why are you doing that?"
