Looks like the wcg ones are one image per badge and not as useful/easy as the primegrid one?

Unfortunately not until they export sub-project data. As it is there is no way to tell badge levels based on the data exported.
There is a sig from SETI.germany or somewhere where they do individual wgets for each user. Thousands of connections over to the WCG site. It looks great, but I won't do that kind of thing. I have asked many times for the data and they promised it too, but it's never been done..

As an aside, I've been told Radioactive@Home and Enigma@Home ate implementing badges. I need to follow up on that...
OK BOK, thx.
Errr, hmmmm...... Question: What would be the minimum requirements to do the SG thing say from one of my computers? My Up/Down speeds are rather high for cable. Running torrents I can do sustained uploads to the net in excess of 140 KiloBytes (not bits) per second. But I would prefer to keep something like that "In-house" if possible since I'm not a commercial service.
Anybody could do it, that's not really the issue. If someone ran a script that pulled thousands of web pages from one of my sites, I'd block the IP as anyone should. It's just really ethical.
They only do about 1000 users or so right now, but I try to do everyone, so it would involve 300,000 connections every time. MUCH better if they provided a global file with all the data in it. Then it's one connection each time. That's how Primegrid and Yoyo do it. Gpugrid is slightly different given it's based on overall credit only, do the data by default is in the exported XML file already.
