    Looking to Upgrade GPU's...

Well, it seems like a good time to start looking at upgrading my gpus.

I know a few mates have the new AMD 7970 and the 6990.

I have three 5870's I could sell each card for about $170.00+ I know that the 7990 is due in a few weeks. Not sure where the new Cuda cards are to be released.
Will two 7970's out crunch three 5870 on Moo?
Should I just wait till the 7990 is out and see where that falls price wise?
Should I look at the 6990?

The only reason for the upgrade is to increase our rac. I can wait if it is financially prudent.

    Thanks for your help.

I donīt know about the money. But the 2 x 7xxx will save him a 100W load on the grid. Thatīs gonna count for something eh??

Most definitely. Its always a good idea to factor in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) these days.
