    New motherboard

So i was tinkering with my computer today and decided i'm tired of having a mATX motherboard in an ATX case. I want a new motherboard!

So i began looking and quickly learned that i didn't have the patience lol

The board i have now is http://www.gigabyte.us/products/prod...px?pid=3021#ov

This is the board i want: http://www.gigabyte.us/products/prod...px?pid=3013#sp OR http://www.gigabyte.us/products/prod...px?pid=2861#ov (yes i know this one uses DDR3)

I would appreciate some help if you guys are familiar with maybe some smaller parts companies that might have one laying around somewhere.

I've already checked newegg, tigerdirect (same as compusa), amazon.com, buy.com and eBay but strongly prefer something that isn't used.

    HALP!

That's the only reason I left socket 775 for the AMD X6 rigs. I couldn't find a mobo with the slots I wanted! The top end 775 Quad Extremes from Intel with 12MB cache were easily as fast as 1st gen i7 920...I had one.
Definitely wishing you some good luck on this one!

@F$: Can't afford to move up the tech tree on this one. Still out of a job since...november

Can't afford to pay $280 for a refurbished board that's on clearance either lol (they must be awfully proud of their refurbishing job)

@DrPop: i know what you mean. i got a Q9550 some years back because it had 12MB cache, same as the Q9650 and X9770, and it could be overclocked to the same exact specs as either of those on this board. Looking like it might just be cheaper to buy an i7-2700K for the Big Bang Marshal and put it back to work. But i really can't justify that in my current financial situation. Guess i'm a little surprised at how completely the P45 chipset has been bought up.

I happen to feel the same way about used. But at the price I may have taken a chance. They new ones are 3x the price.
