Cooler Master Chillin Good in Q2 2012

Cooler Master should be releasing two CPU coolers in 2nd quarter that you may want to own.

The first product, The Cooler Master TPC 812, is an Air Tower Cooler that they say will outperform the Corsair H80 at a lower price point. The TPC 812 will be the first CPU cooler to incorporate two vertical vapor chambers with each chamber able to dissipate 130 Watts of heat energy. The TPC 812 will also feature a six heatpipe design. And the best part is its MSRP of $69.

Cooler Master's second product will be their first self contained, closed looped liquid cooling solution. Cooler Master has not yet given the cooler a retail name but internally it is known as "Project A-L2". To differentiate their liquid cooling solution, Cooler Master has decided to incorporate 3rd party DIY components and a high performance innovation. One DIY component will be a high flow rate pump which can move 450 liters of coolant per hour. Innovation comes in the form of a custom designed heat plate that is fashioned from layers of copper. Each layer will have a varying pattern of different sized holes. The entire copper assembly will be fused together using a high temperature, high heat process. The design of this heat plate allows it to maximize coolant contact area and have a less restrictive coolant flow rate compared to the micro channel designs used in many competitors products.
