    Best fans now?

I am running dry of most fans, and it's time to resupply. What are the best fans lately? I'm looking for QUIET and AIRFLOW. Don't care about anything else, including cost or nonsense like LEDs. Three sizes: 120mm, 140mm and 200mm.

http://www.scythe-eu.com/en/products...on-120-mm.html these are pretty good for 120mms. F$ is the fan guru though so he'll have to verify that
If he approves, conversions are as follows:

    Technical Data:
    500 rpm: 0.015 A - 5 dBA - 31 m³/h (18.25 cfm)
    800 rpm: 0.023 A - 9 dBA - 48 m³/h (28.25 cfm)
    1,150 rpm: 0.034 A - 16 dBA - 63 m³/h (37.08 cfm)
    1,450 rpm: 0.049 A - 21 dBA - 85 m³/h (50.03 cfm)
    1,850 rpm: 0.083 A - 28 dBA - 98 m³/h (57.68 cfm)

Actually scratch that. Enermax to the rescue. Both are 120mm

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835214001 69.15 cfm @ 18 dBA
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835214037 71.25 cfm @ 18 dBA (white LED)

Use the scythes above for heatsinks/radiators and these for case intake/exhaust.

These Xigmateks are the best i've seen as far as cfm vs noise. The next most efficient would be to put the 120mm Enermaxs in your 140mm spots.

    90.3 cfm @ <18 dBA

125 cfm @ 20 dBA. Only 1 dBA louder than the Cooler Master 200mm fans, but 15 cfm more airflow. Seems like a fair trade-off to me...

I've always found the best fans to be the Green Bay Packer fans.

Me? Guru? Me thinks you have fallen on your head.....

JPM makes some great suggestions. With that said I still like the Akasa Viper 140mm fan. If your case(s) can take 140mm fans then I highly recommend the Akasa, but the only eTailer that sells them is FrozenCPU.com

    (FrozenCPU Link)

    Akasa Viper 140mm Specs
    Dimension: 140 X 140 X 25mm
    Fan speed: 600 -1600 RPM
    Max airflow: 110.61 CFM (141.75 m3/h)
Max static air pressure: 3.12 mm H2O
    Noise level: 12.5-26.01 dB(A)
    Voltage rating: 12V DC
    Bearing: HDB (Hydro Dynamic)
    Fan life expectancy: 50,000 hours
    Connector: 4pin PWM
    Product code: AK-FN063

    F$

Edit: They go for 14.95 each + shipping
