NFS@Home: kilobit postprocessing underway, factorizations completed

The postprocessing of 2,1049+, our fourth kilobit factorization, is now underway and is expected to take about 4 weeks. The factorizations of F1229 and L1797 have been completed. We will now be working on successively harder GNFS factorizations, and the sieving of our first, 3,745+, is going well.

Sweet! Neat to see the results from a project, that's pretty cool, even if the math is WAY over my head!

It feels good to have our name and team name associated with a post-processing job. Next Sunday (05-05-13) I will finish L1201 (80 hours to go) so expect a new RSS message. I will then pick up L1803. Right now each job takes a full week on my laptop.
