" Sorry about the lost time away. It seems that I got infected by 38 virus,malware, and etc.,last month. Then my laptop crashed Bigtime... I had to get a new anti-virus and repair program. Norton 360 I hope will be a good program! I have also lost all my data and screen savers for Seti@Home. I am on another link too, but don't remember which one exactly. As you may have quessed by now that I am very new to all of this, last month, but really enjoyed watching the screen savers while on doing other things. I also lost my Boinc if that is possible! PS: I have two (2) accounts. One under "Screwdriver" , One under "Screwdriver1 " . Please help me... I will be truly grateful.!

Not to worry, these things happens to all of us from time to time. You are doing the right thing by using a virus protector of any kind, Norton's is a well known brand.

First of all, let you sorted out on our Forum. Your user name is "screwdriver" without the quotes. provided you have not changed your password and or email address go to http://www.setiusa.us and log in with your username and password. If you forgot the password just ask it to be renewed at the log in process and a new one will be posted to your registered email. By the way, screwdriver1 or Screwdriver one is not registered with us.

Secondly, you have not lost your BOINC account for it is registered under the user name of Screwdriver and shows that you are running two projects, Constellation and SETI@Home with a total score of 21,625.49. Again, Screwdriver1 does not appear. Note that it is best to keep just one user name, one password and one email address for BOINC for that way the statistics will be correct otherwise it will be split like two different user, or one user with different email and or password.

As far as BOINC is concerned on your computer, do the following. Download and install the latest version of BOINC for you computer from http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download. Once installed you will find that you have not lost anything although you might need to tweek some projects like SEWTI to get back your original settings
