Obviously Maxwell isn't "normal". Of course we all know that

I was even really bad at the AP26 subproject when it was around. Never found anything more than AP22, and I ran up over 1M credits there. I think my role on PG is to eliminate the non-primes so that other people can find them. I'm the mythical Maxwell Sieve.

In my page of Primegrid says I discover one prime "3149*2^1297441+1" on Proth Prime Search (PPS, PPSE & PPS-Mega) tasks but I didnt receive any message and dint see nothing on Boinc announcing the new prime with my name, can someone explain me how this works?

A couple things:

1. If your email you use to login to PG is no longer available to you, you'll never receive a message.
2. You also must have the option of "Send an email when automated report has been executed" ticked in your PG preferences.

Also, they don't make big announcements on the site for all primes they find. Only the really big ones.
