I'm on it and should hit 25,000,000 today. I run it alongside BOINC with no problems.

RETIRED. NO JOB. NO MONEY. NO WORRIES!

Crunched SETI Classic to the end.

    SETI@home classic workunits
    17,550
SETI@home classic CPU time 86,861 hours

I'm having trouble finding our team, so what is the team number as the team name doesn't seem to work. have only add one machine for now because I have never done this before.

Be sure to also assign your passkey to each client too. You get more points if you do that.

Use the advanced client, instead of the web client. If you have more than one machine folding, you can display and monitor them all on one machine.

Slide the folding power slider all the way to the right "full".

If you want to maximize folding, then don't run BOINC at the same time (and vice versa).

After you return 10 tasks successfully, and are above something like 90% successful, and use a passkey, you will start getting significant bonus credits too. You can check your status here: https://apps.foldingathome.org/bonus

By default, the FAH client will fold on both your CPU and GPU at the same time (separate tasks for each). If you want to (for example), fold on your GPU and BOINC on your CPU, then delete the CPU slot from your FAH client. You can always add the deleted slot back later.

Before deleting any slots, be sure to set them to "Finish", and complete the in progress task first. You want to avoid aborted/failed/abandoned tasks when possible. See the bonus comment above.

You are now showing up as a member of the team with credits. This page has lots of good stats info, both for the team and you.

    Re: Folding@Home

I had to shut it down last night, about midnight my computer started over heating and shutting down. don't understand why it ran all day without a problem then had one at midnight. I'm thinking I might have a problem with my CPU cooler going bad, so will try to get a new cooler put on. I will set folding up on another box for now.
