    I just watched that linked video and I'd like to know more about the proposed cost. The speaker is talking about getting the USB device, but also antennas and cables, and placing them for reception. And building your own stuff and soldering etc. He also talks about collecting massive amounts of data, so it would need to be seen what kinda of data transfers it would lead to for a BOINC project...
