    Unfortunately I'm not real impressed with the Devil's Canyon as an "upgrade" only. So before building my 3rd rig I'm going to wait for the Haswell-e to come out on the X99 platform and then see. If it's not worth whatever Intel will want for it, then I'll be up for one of these after all, I guess.

    Agreed. I want the new >4 core intel CPU to replace my lone i7-3770. Anything less than that is just spending money for fun. I've done plenty of that in the past. But for now, I am waiting.
