I guess after you pass 140 MPH it doesn't matter. Hennessey uses shuttle runway to break 270 MPH. I did like Kennedy's speech that they tied into it. Also, watch for The Stig in the video.

Not quite as fast, though not far off and a lot cheaper, but I prefer the AMS tuned Nissan GT-R's..
7.98 for 1/4mile and 0-60 in 2.2 or something like that.

I like the GT-R' s. We have an exotic car rental place here in Denver, that's one of the toys they have in their stable. It was on my short list.

Absolutely I love speed....just not at ground level. 300 knots at altitude or maybe 250 at 200 feet or trying to land at 120 knots after breaking out of the clouds at 200 feet, that was enough of a thrill for me.
