    BoincTasks Random Lost Connection

    Hi All,

Ran into a weird problem when I came back from a month out of town this morning. I turned everything off for my long duration away and when I booted everything up this morning BOINCTasks had no connectivity to my other computers. Before leaving everything was working fine so I know the remote computers have the necessary files/passwords/IP addresses. Is there any type of sync feature or something in BOINCTasks that I need to do to re-sync everything or something? Each of the computers has the red lightning bolt next to it.

    Thanks!

None that I am aware of. Can you ping the other computers or remote into them?

A while back when I was using BOINCtasks to manage several computers in the house, I had a problem with my IP address changing for the computers, and then BOINCTasks wouldn't connect. Could that be happening here?

Thanks for the help guys. Maxwell, you called it. I checked the remote computers IPs but never considered the localhost IP. Turns out localhost IP had changed. Back up and running now.

Woohoo! I win, or something... Glad you're back up and running!
