    Try MSI Afterburner - I've used that before to clock different cards differently...

    from what i can find online 88*c is way to hot for this card im going to pull the gt430 , ill stick it in a different machine that has more room
    first ill see if removing the gt430 lowers the temps on the 550

    Anything less than mid 90s on a nv is fine.

    hmm ill let it run as is and keep an eye on it for now , its holding a stable 86/87* with the fan at 60 ish % sure does finish collatz units alot faster then the gt430

    They give you some wiggle room on the temps. I've been running nvs for years. Unless you start seeing invalids you are fine. The max temp on a 430 is 98c according to the nv website.

    i was just surprised cause the gt430 with the 80mm fan i put on it doesnt go over 38*c

    thanks guys , i ended up removing the gt430 going to stick that in another machine , and now i have the 550ti overclocked by a good bit running at only 50-52* withe the fan locked to 75%, the card crunches pretty well
