Great. Now I am just going to have to throw this thing away.My Core i7 never goes above 61C even while crunching a project like Aqua on six threads and gaming at the same time.
Hmmm...depends on the CPU, but 71 may actually be a touch on the high side...but who knows, you might get years out of it that way!
A few extra case fans might help too, or a bigger HSF...if it ever feels like it needs to cool down some. Otherwise, as long as you're not erroring out a bunch of WUs, no big deal what it is, right?

Its the stock Cooler that came with my system.
The CPU air system uses x2 92mm Fans. The hood on the left with the XPS logo has one and the CPU heatsink has the second which is mount on the right-hand side of the cooler.
My system has a third 92mm fan for the PCIe slots which is mounted in its own hood located above the XPS hood.
