Apparently it did not detect the gpu's. I am seeing both in device manager and MSI Afterburner.

Re: What did *you* upgrade today?

Started having BSOD with various error messages. Called Asus and put in about an hour on the phone. Turns out the driver disk is outdated as well as the Bios. The BIOS would not update. It took a lot of tries and going back to the old Bios before it took. Then I got more BSOD.errors. After calling support again it was decided that there has to be something wrong with the board. Called Newegg and got an RMA for the board on a return basis. I ordered an Asus ROG Maximus Ranger VIII board with 1 day shipping. Should have it tomorrow. Will see if that works.

I don't know if you would call it an upgrade; however, I did find my other Radeon HD5870's and put them back in my main rig. Now I have 3 of them working on Milkyway.

Re: What did *you* upgrade today?

I'm done trying to get Boinc to see my GPU's on this build. I have gone the driver route with new driver updates and old drivers, I've deleted Boinc and re-installed. I've switched video cards from the 960's to a 750ti to 570's. I've tried 1 gpu and 2 gpu's and nothing works. Still getting the same error 255 message. And I have gone to the project home pages to make sure the prefereences were set right although rebuilding a box wouldn't have any impact on that one. Just trying to cover everything. I went to the Boinc forums and theree is a lot of answers for ATI cards and Linus but not much on Nvidia.

Here is the log file. Maybe someone can come up with an answer. It is a shame to just run the CPU in this thing. Hopefully someone will have an answer.

It was running great until I changed motherboard and cpu and I have 2 other boxes running win 10 with no problems. But I did just run gpu-z again for about the 10th time and now it is telling me that it "crashed at open cl detection" and that I should update drivers. I've done tis several times already.

Did you use something like Driver Fusion and CCleaner to remove all the old files and references to files? If you haven't, you might try that.

yes, checkmark "clean install" for the selection of nvidia drivers. It is located in "custom" when asked.
Also delete anything not pertinent to ur computer in c:/winidows/prefetch, before rebooting, so computer gets the latest stuff.
