Unhappy Re: PrimeGrid: World Maths Day Challenge

I just remembered to look for PG challenges for this year. Been so busy with
    http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/M...ibreOffice_DVD
that all other things has been pushed back into my mind to be lost in the abyss.

So I just printed out the list for this year's challenges.

I offer my apologies to the team for not supporting are efforts in the first two.

Could someone send out an email announcement to help remind people with flaky memories, like me, to come out to support our team's efforts?

    I hope I remember.

I have been working as much as I can with my injuries on a DVD project shown on my domain of LibreOffice-NA.US

I hope I can fix the issue that will not keep "updating" BOINC on Ubuntu so I have to manually do an update after the WUs are done. Sometimes in the morning there is no 100% tasks, while other mornings there are one for each core and the new ones have been running for most of the night and the system still not uploaded the completed work.

If the PG WU takes only 18 minutes, I will have a lot of WUs waiting for me by morning and a lot of them will not be uploaded before the end of the challenge.

    I will try it again.

If you are talking to me. . . .

I have been running PG projects that take about 15 to 30 hours on my Quad system. I have been doing a lot of PPS Sieve over the past month getting between 12K and 20K daily credits.

I switched to the Challenge project last night. That way I will not forget. Seems to take about 17-18 minutes per WU. It seems that these WUs are uploading properly after they are finished, but not the long PPS ones.

Well there is 2 days 3 hours to go before the starter's gun fires. Will see how it goes.
