    Yea, right. Do they really think people are that stupid or maybe they think most people don't care or are for the most part illiterate on the subject. For anyone still using AVG FF with NoScrypt and Adblock are your friends.

    They say they will clean/anonymize the data before selling. But anonymous information is worthless to advertisers. They need to be able to tie that information back to users to target relevant ads. So it becomes obvious they will either have no buyers, or have to sell non-anonymous information. And if they intend to make money...

    On the very rare occasion that I see ads, I love seeing how ridiculously irrelevant they are to me. Of course, seeing as my wife makes nearly every purchasing decision outside of me buying gas for my car, I don't have a lot to offer the world of commerce...
