I just came across this CPU again, while organizing my computer components. Still no interest from anyone? It's free.

The E7400 uses less power than my Xeon X3360 but has only two cores vs my four if I'm reading the specs correctly.
Less power is good but it may half the performance of my machine.
I have nowhere else for it.
I have a spare i7 3770K that I would rather find a motherboard for and replace my X3360 anyway.
Thanks as always Z for your hardware donations.

Yeah, it makes no sense to run, unless you already have all the other parts sitting on a shelf. And power was cheap. Maybe I will use it for a decoration.
