Added a newish lappy with a quad core i7 to Rosetta and Folding@H.
dallasdog and Ron Shurtz are killing it for us right now.

I just looked in on the stats for our team. 8 active members. Wow! It's been a long time since we had that many. I am just about to start again with some of my slower GPUs (for now).
Just attached to SETI.USA F@H team, most of my gpus are on it but some often have to wait for work. Looking at around 300k ppd if current metrics are accurate.
Wish I could keep both machines rolling.
Just added a GTX1080...![]()
That happens when the servers are out of work to hand out, or when they are overloaded. Or both.
I moved my GPUs off of F@H for now. Tired of them sitting idle a lot of the time. And frankly, they have more volunteer resources than they can use at the moment.

It happens to me often.
I click on the GPU line and check the "Next Attempt" time. If it is more than 30 minutes, I quit FAH on that machine and then start it again.
It will then check for a WU immediately and start over on incrementing the next attempt back off times.
I have had next attempt times of over 5 hours.
Stopping and starting FAH usually gets me a WU much sooner.
When WUs becomes available, you may otherwise be sitting on a lengthy next attempt time and miss out.
I don't babysit it often, but I check from time to time and do the stop and start to get GPU WUs when I see long next attempt times.![]()
