Led Zeppelin Honored At The 35th Annual Kennedy Center Honors

This is worth the 20 minutes (just skip forward to 1:10 and avoid the whole intro crap). Jack Black is the host, and the bands that do the covers are awesome.

Seriously awesome performances. Dave Grohl doing the drums for the first song was sublime.

Take the time, on something bigger than a mobile phone.

Even if you don't like Led Zeppelin much, this is worth the 20 minutes.

Funny, many years ago, I wasn't into Zeppelin at all..just knew a few of their songs..
Then, I saw a 10CD boxed set, all of their studio albums - and I figured, why not? Well...I learned a LOT that day. Learned that I had been missing out BIG time!
That tribute was AWESOME - VERY well done. You could tell that Zeppelin was proud - and impressed.

I just found this *JEWEL* on youtube.

For The Smiths fans out there, here is some *LIVE*, good quality video! Live at The Derby Assembly Rooms. 07.12.1983!

There are four parts, and each has 3-4 songs each. And 1983 is fairly early in their career. Damn! Morrissey is skin and bones!

    The Specials!

Love the mod suits, especially when this was filed in the late 70's, the height of ugly style.

ZZ Top *rockin' it* back in 1980!

Holy crap! They had mountain-man beards long before they were cool (or gray)! Gotta forgive the bell bottoms...they were just coming out of the 70's...

Still have a set of tickets for the last show they were supposed to do in Chicago that was cancelled. Got them in a frame somewhere.
