Lately, I have been toying around with the AMD A4-3400 APU and decided to plug in the Corsair XM3 DDR3 2000Mhz DDR3 Dual Channel memory kit to my AsRock A75 motherboard to see if there was any measurable performance boost.
Surprisingly, I did!
In contrast to the Intel APU line of processors, AMD is getting a direct boost to performance when you clock up your DDR3 memory speed. My excitement comes from soon getting my hands on the next generation of AMD processors. The AMD A10-5800K is supposed to have higher graphics core speeds and the improved Bulldozer architecture on the same cpu chip.
