It gets updated every time a preference for that machine changed.
It could have gotten corrupted, such as a missing or invalid html tag happened when the file got written.

You could try:

* Stopping BOINC manager on that machine.
* Find the file "C:\ProgramData\BOINC\global_prefs.xml" and rename it to keep a copy.
* Restart BOINC manager.

It should create a new global_prefs.xml file.
You can then see if the Gerasim wus report.

If things don't change, then you can always go back and delete the newly created global_prefs.xml file and rename the one you renamed earlier back to the original name.
i will give that a shot in the morning, i will be leaving for about 4 days tomorrow and i hate to leave that machine doing nothing.
